Society Act of British Columbia


                            PACIFIC AEROMODELLERS CLUB

                                CONSTITUTION 1990



 1.   The name of the society shall be :  PACIFIC AEROMODELLERS CLUB


 2.        The purposes of the society shall be:

a)         to operate a club for persons interested in the construction and operation of all flying model aircraft.

b)         to promote model aviation in all it's forms.

c)         to foster and encourage participation in model aviation by all persons, regardless of age, race, sex, group affiliation or perceived level of ability.

d)         to encourage the development of world‑class model aircraft competitors and to support acknowledged experts.

e)         to encourage and conduct safe operation of model aircraft during contests and at all other times in accordance with rules established by the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada, the Academy of Model Aeronautics of the U.S.A. and the Federation Aeronautique Internationale.


 3.        On the winding up or dissolution of this society, funds or assets remaining after all debts have been paid shall be transferred to a nonprofit organization with purposes similar to those of this society, or, if this cannot be done, to a charitable institution recognized by Revenue Canada as qualified under the provisions of the Income Tax Act of Canada.


 4.        The purpose of the society shall be carried out without purpose of gain for its members, and any profits or other accretions to the society shall be used for promoting its purpose.


 5.        Paragraphs 3 and 4 of this constitution are unalterable in accordance with the Society Act.
