There were awards for 3 Classes:

  1) Full Fuselage Models was won by Dennis Matthews. It is a Bi-Slob built originally by Harold Youds. It was covered with silk span, but I recoverd it with balck and yellow checkerboard monokote.  It is now powered by a L.A. .46. I expect this model to be a lot of fun but it has yet to be flown in this configuration.

  2) Profile Models was won by Dennis Matthews  The little airplane, that I called Adria Rose, was started last year.  It was a team project by my grand daughter and myself.  Built from scratch (no plans) with balsa left over from other projects.  She designed the fuselage, canopy, and tail.  I designed the wing It came together over the course of almost a year.  It took this long as she could only work on it from time to time.  She chose the colours and I added the black stripes. It was going to be powered by an electric system, but we opted for the Cox .010 TD. The landing gear is from a Cox PT 19 plastic ready-to-fly trainer.  Hopefully we can take a test flight this summer.

  3) Experimental Class Static Event was won by Harold Youds with his semi scale Lee Richards annular monoplane (flying "toilet seat").
