Sunday September 16, 2012.

The club held it's annual BBQ at the home of Barb and Larry Bell today.

It was a great day for a BBQ, flying or any other outdoor activity you could imagine.

Larry had intigrated Barb's laptop with their television and I showed the club members and their guests around the web site.  We were able to edit and add captions to several of the older photos.

During the meeting that followed we decided to try to extend the flying season at Clayburn Park to the end of October (THIS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED - SEPTEMBER 18), weather permitting.  The club decided to support the 5th Annual Ringmaster Fly-A-Thon at both the Clayburn site and the Ricemill Road site.  The VGMC has been invited to participate with the notification from The Brotherhood of the Ring being forwarded to both them and Flying Lines.  It was decided to host an in-club stunt competition based on the MAAC Beginner's pattern on the first  Sunday (weather permitting) after the Ringmaster Fly-A-Thon.

The meal was excellent!  Thank you to Barb and her assistants Paul Gagnon & Rebecca Sasges.
