Q. When did you start in control line?
A. Started in control line in 1946.
Q. Have you tried any other styles of model airplane flying?
A. Yes, just about everything, except Microfilm.
Q. What interests you in control line?
A. Stunt, Scale, and Funflys.
Q. What is your favourite memory of flying?
A. Placing 1st in B speed (115mph) and 1st place in 150 lap rat race, at 1953 V.G.M.C. Nationals in Vancouver.
Q. Do you build your own models? (or something to include building)
A. I scratch build or from a kit. (only way to go) No ARFs.
Q. What is your favourite model?
A. My favorite model is a Debolt Suntwagon 30.
Q. What was your most spectacular crash?
A. Favorite crash was with fellow club member (Jack Barnes). We were both V.G.M.C. members at the time.
Q. Have you ever participated in any competitions? If yes, which ones?
A. I competed in: Rubber, Free Flight, HL Glider, Stunt, Scale, and Speed.
Q. How did you start in control line? Who got you started in control line?
A. I got started on my own. I was inerested and it looked like fun! Sure was!! 
Q. What advice would you give someone who wanted to try control line?
A. It is certainly the cheapest way for young people to get into the hobby. It teaches you to think, use use your hands to develop your skills.  It is hobby and sport that moms, dads, brothers and sisters can get involved in.  I know my Dad and Sister got involved. Life long friends!
