Thanks to Larry's photo coverage it is clear that the Clayburn Site is not yet usable for our flying sessions. It should be noted that despite the location being more distant for some of our members - Rice Mill has

been exceptional most week-ends.  Very often it may be raining in Surrey & New Westminster/Burnaby - but it seems that Richmond (Rice Mill) gets the most sunshine and the paved circles provide for good flying conditions.

This week-end a number of modelers are away in Salem, Oregon attending the Regionals Stunt/Combat competitions.(Fri.-Sun. May 23 -25th).  Hopefully, the weather is better in Salem than is forecast for the lower mainland.

At the same time, Larry Bell is scheduled to race his Firebird on Sat./Sunday at Mission Raceways - and he excels in racing "in the rain" on a wet track !  Good Luck Larry, the forecast appears to be in your favour for this week-end !

Henry.

We have now lost (appprox) 29% of our season on this field.

I went past the field approx 2:30 today after the rain had subsided.  The good news is that the first cut has been made!  .

The sad news is that cut wasn't sufficient

And this is close to where we have been setting up the "pits"
