I just walked the field.  In doing so, even though the field is imensly dryer than 2 weeks ago, (Can you imagine a 3" foam backing on a shag carpet soaking wet?) and it has not rained - yet, my shoes did get wet.

The grass has been cut only near the road, not near our flying area.  The weeds are up to 10" tall and the grass is approx. 6" tall.

The weather forcast is for rain tomorrow (Saturday) and showers on Sunday.

Field conditions dictate that only hand launch flying would be available and the the weather forcast probably scrubs that also.

I cannot recommend flyng this Sunday at Clayburn.  Try again for May 12.
