It was partly cloudy with variable wind speed and direction - in other words - a typical British Columbia day.
I got down there to find Barrie S. already had the field set up and was preparing for his first flight. Larry B. stopped by and said he and Barb would be back later - they did. I set to charging batteries. Barrie got in a couple flights before Hube S, then Henry H. arrived and I had my charging done. Everyone flew - even Henry! Jack O. stopped by to help solve world problems. Denis C. came with his modified Keith Varley plane - it now has very little elevator compared to the flaps.
Flying report - Barrie had engine problems on his Miss B. J., Hube had several good flights, as was Henry's, on my second flight I had a magnet shift (sound familiar?) and Denis's plane with the "backward" controls flew very well with no problems in the square corners. Joe Y. - the change we made with my handle did appear to give additional smoothness - especially to level flight. Thank you. Now all I have to do is find a "hard point" handle.
