Reports of Officers:

Larry B:  Hasn’t touched models all last year. Clayburn field status quo – still soaking wet and not mown yet. Need more stakes to hold rope in place. Health is getting better, 7 months of being off work – so far so good. We have a new puppy named Raven, 8 month old black lab. Electric car has saved us thousands of dollars. Drones – CKWX called and interviewed Larry.

Henry:  Already had an insurance claim for squirrel damage, doesn’t cover dogs either!! Issues at Rice Mill – engineers and others there due to new bridge – having to deal with Hydro, to no avail – flying site should be safe at least for now – parking lot may be handicapped for a while. VGMC may not be able to hold Western Canada Stunt Championships August 5/6 2017.

Barb: Financial report given. Looking for money from those that are going to be flying at Clayburn site.

Barrie: Flew on Thursday at a local park, 4 flights with his Smoothie.

Kathie: No Report

Paul B:  No open house on New Year’s Day – weather did not cooperate! Creek really high. Flew at Rice Mill with Larry Lewin, Paul had 5 flights, Larry had 2 – no grass cut yet. Traffic to and from was a nightmare.

Hube: One Stop Hobbies is closing, owners are ill and want/need out. Burnaby Lake electric fliers sent out an “invitation” to C/L fliers? Hube investigated and no C/L fliers were there.
