Today - other than being Father's day, was cleanup day at Rice Mill Rd. flying site. Proudly I note that there were representatives from both VGMC and PAC, of all ages and flying ability. The principle goal was the larger circle because it is the primary circle for competition. With 8 workers, they were able to clear the grass from the pavement on the outside edge. Henry H. and Barrie S. swept and trimmed the secondary, smaller, circle while I endeavored to clear the grass from the pavement on the outside edge. I was less successful than the crew on the large circle only clearing about 15%. I was, however, very successful at growing a good crop of blisters. Even though it was mostly cloudy, it was hot thirsty work. Did I mention that I am feeling to old to do this very often. Larry
