Today's fun fly at Clayburn  had 2 pilots, Barrie and Henry.  With temps heading for  27 degrees, it was a short flying day.

Barrie put up 3 flights with his Nobler.  The FP35 engine ran well but the 11:4 Zinger Prop was too much for it. Changing the prop to a 10:5 Master Airscrew wood prop made it run much better.

Henry put up 1 flight with his Super Clown running a Veco 19. As Barrie said, Henry ran it upwind in order to  keep the bright sun out of his eyes and he saw slack lines! Henry got it landed and decided one flight was good.

Henry and Barrie dropped in on the Bells in order to have a quick visit and cool off before hitting the freeway home. Airshow weekend traffic may have factored into our small attendance but I blame it on the heat!
