This was the last flying day at Clayburn Community Park for this season. For being quite windy at my home, approx. 3Km away, it was delightfully calm at the field, almost no wind and the sun was playing peek-a-boo behind some clouds.

Paul B. and I were the first there and had just set up when Jack (MAAC # 613) arrived. We solved world problems for a while then Paul started flying his Barnstormer with an OS LA 25. I can certainly see his improvement over the summer. Jack and I worked on getting Fox 15s to run. Jack was successful and I wasn't. Henry arrived just in time to get in several jabs about how the OS is so much better than a Fox. It ran well a week and a half ago. I put the Fox away and brought out my pink Twister.

Larry and Barb B. stopped by to give the latest news but due to "family" constraints weren't able to stay and fly. Hube came along shortly after.

For me the flying highlight of the day was Jack flying his Little Zilch powered by his Fox 15 he used to use for racing. It was a while since Jack flew last but it was successful and included loops, wingovers and lazy eights. It ended when Jack made a controlled power landing. No damage.

Henry flew his Flite Streak, Hube flew his Score, Pual also flew his I.D. 10 T. and I flew my Twister.

After flying Henry, Jack, Kathy and I went to a local restaurant for dinner and solve more of the world's problems.

All in all, a great day.
