Come out and join us for some fun and flying at Clayburn Park!

In order to continue being good corporate citizens we will conduct noise readings an all planes flown.

"I hope EVERYONE realizes the constant risk of losing the field forever. We need to be together on this!"
Larry B. Pres.

The rain quit, there was no wind and the company was amenable.  Denis C. and his son John came out from Burnaby to enjoy "the jewel of a field" we have at Clayburn Park.  (His opinion is that we should do whatever is required to keep this field.)  Later Paul B. and Hube S. came out

Denis first flew his profile (built by Kieth V.) then John put in 1 flight on the Jr. Ringmaster.  I hope to have it accepted as an official flight for the World Wide Ringmaster Fly A Thon.

John then flew a slow combat ship with an unmuffled Fox 15.  During the flight Denis determined that the noise was excessive and said he would not bring it again.

Paul flew his "ID 1o T" with the 35 engine of questionable origin.  After a balky beginning it ran well.  I guess I have to withdraw my comment about using it as a model boat anchor.

Hube flew the Score - beautifully as usual.  Still having difficulties with fuel.

I replaced the motor on my remaining Ringmaster with a larger one,  Still didn't get the speeds I had hoped for, oh well I try a different prop.  I had "rebuilt" the motor on the Twister and it preformed well.  I got 3 flights on it - working on getting down to 4' for level flight.  Slowly.

Other club members chose to fly at Rice Mill this weekend.

Only 1 flying session left at Clayburn this year - hope to see you all there then.
