Clayburn Park.

In order to continue being good corporate citizens we are attempting to conduct noise readings on all planes flown.  Plus a few alternate sources for comparison.  I have just purchased a sound meter so will update this page on a regular basis.

Readings will be taken at approximately 3 metres outside the flying circle and from the road (approx 90 m.).  All readings are on the "A" scale.  All model readings are maximums.  Engines that have previously been recorded and have not been altered are not retested.  For quantitative purposes only my meter's readings will be used.

() indicates readings taken by Larry B. on a smart phone app.

  * indicates an attempted reading from the parking lot (road) but background
noise from the road prevented a successful reading.

** The muffler came loose with a reading of 88 before landing.
